Santa Lucia is a traditional Neapolitan song. It was translated from Neapolitan into Italian by Teodoro Cottrau (1827–1879) and published as a barcarolla in Naples in 1849. The song was also recorded by Elvis Presley on the 1965 album Elvis for Everyone and featured in the film Viva Las Vegas.
