Mauro Giuseppe Sergio Pantaleo Giuliani (27 July 1781 8 May 1829) was an Italian guitarist, cellist, singer, and composer. He was a leading guitar virtuoso of the early 19th century.

Deck the Hall  is a traditional Christmas, yuletide, and New Year's carol. The melody is Welsh dating back to the sixteenth century, and belongs to a winter carol, while the English lyrics, written by the Scottish musician Thomas Oliphant, date to 1862.
